The short version
Shubh Bhagya is a free tool that generates AI-assisted Vedic astrology readings from your birth details. Treat the output as material for self-reflection — not as fact, not as fate, and not as a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or professional astrological advice. If you rely on it to make important life decisions, that's your call and your risk. The tool is provided as-is, without warranty; use at your own discretion.
What Shubh Bhagya is
Shubh Bhagya (shubhagya.com) is a free web tool that computes Vedic (sidereal Lahiri) birth charts using standard astronomical libraries, and generates natural-language readings using AI language models applied to classical Jyotish rules. Built and operated by an individual based in India.
Astrology as guidance, not prediction
Classical Vedic astrology is a lens for self-understanding and timing — not a deterministic prediction of future events. Readings on Shubh Bhagya describe tendencies, potentials, and periods, not fixed outcomes. Even the most classical astrologer will tell you that free will and karma-in-motion modulate what any chart shows.
Do not use Shubh Bhagya as a substitute for:
- • Medical decisions — the health section of a reading is not a diagnosis. Consult a licensed physician.
- • Legal decisions — consult a licensed lawyer.
- • Financial decisions — consult a registered financial advisor.
- • Marriage go/no-go verdicts — Ashtakoot matching is a starting-point filter, not a final answer. A trained astrologer looking at both full charts is a different-quality reading than any automated tool.
- • High-stakes predictions — questions about death, terminal illness, or similar are refused by the Ask tool by design.
AI-generated content
The natural-language sections of readings (on Kundli, Matching, Numerology, Ask, etc.) are produced by AI language models operating on your chart's computed placements. AI can produce plausible-sounding text that is sometimes inaccurate or generic. A trained human astrologer's intuition catches patterns AI cannot.
The underlying chart computations (planetary positions, dashas, yogas, Manglik detection, Sade Sati phase, matching scores, etc.) are deterministic and astronomically precise. The narrative interpretation layer that turns those numbers into prose is AI-assisted and should be read with that in mind.
Free use, no warranty
Shubh Bhagya is free. Because it's free and provided as-is, we make no warranty about accuracy, availability, or fitness for any specific purpose. Site down? Reading contains an error? Dasha date off? Muhurat table doesn't match your local pandit's calculation? We'll do our best to fix it, but we don't promise to. You accept this as a condition of using the tool.
Your responsibilities
- Accurate birth data. Readings are only as good as the birth details you enter. If your birth time is uncertain, the reading will be too — especially Lagna, Navamsha, and Dasha timing.
- Fair use. Please don't script-abuse the free daily Ask quota by clearing cookies to bypass the limit, and please don't scrape the site programmatically. Use it as a human.
- Credit if quoting. If you quote from our article library elsewhere, please credit "Shubh Bhagya" with a link back.
- Adult use. Not directed at children under 18. Please don't create an account or generate readings for a child under 18 without a parent's involvement.
Intellectual property
Site design, code, article text, and copywriting are ours. Classical Jyotish teachings, verses, and standard rules are the shared inheritance of the tradition and not owned by anyone.

Termination
You can stop using Shubh Bhagya any time by simply not visiting the site. You can delete your data (see our Privacy Policy). We may terminate access for users who abuse the tool in ways that harm other users or the service.
